The German Accelerator program empowers German tech and life sciences startups to successfully enter global markets. Our mission is to elevate the German startup ecosystem and create global market leaders. Supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the program is 100% free for all participating companies – no strings attached. With offices in Silicon Valley, New York, Cambridge (Massachusetts), and Singapore, program participants are immersed in the world’s leading innovation hubs, while receiving all of the tools and resources required in order to succeed. The program is tailored to the needs of participating companies and enables them to achieve ambitious goals rapidly. We offer customized mentoring, access to an extensive network, strategic advice, free office space and tactical support, and support in Marketing & PR. All services are 100% free. No fees. No equity.
“Coming to the U.S. and having a partner with an existing network that can help you really get started is extremely valuable.” Marc Kinast, VP Business Development & Channel Sales Celonis, Silicon Valley alumni 2013 “German Accelerator provided enormous support throughout our journey to enter the U.S. market: a great team with a fantastic network, support, and wealth of experience. A comprehensive all-around carefree package for a U.S. expansion.” Pia Frey, Co-Founder of Opinary, New York alumni 2017
“I’ve never learned so much so fast in my entire entrepreneurial career. I’m not going to lie, German Accelerator isn’t easy. The mentors challenge us every day to confront obstacles to growth and identify the best ways to address those barriers.
We arrived in the U.S. with assumptions based on our success in Europe. The mentors didn’t tell us we were wrong. Instead, they provided the training and framework to develop a customer-centric approach that is helping us evaluate our strategy and identify product/market fit in the U.S. This is stuff that we will be able to use the rest of our careers.
Without German Accelerator, we would have wasted months chasing a market that is significantly different to the European market and that needs a completely different approach.”
