How Gizil landed its first enterprise deal in LATAM within 3 months
Guided by German Accelerator, Gizil entered Latin America with the right introductions and credibility - and closed a pilot with TGS, one of the region's largest gas operators, in a fraction of the typical timeline.
Gizil is an industrial SaaS company building digital twin technology for asset-intensive industries. Strong product, real traction in Germany. But entering Latin America meant starting from zero: no local network, no brand recognition, and no insight into how enterprise procurement worked in the region's heavy industrial sector.
THE PROBLEM
In heavy industry, trust is the deciding factor. Customers managing critical infrastructure don't buy from unknown foreign vendors based on a cold deck. Building the credibility and relationships needed to even get into those conversations organically takes 12–18 months — if it happens at all.
THE PIVOT
Through the program, Gizil worked with mentors to validate market potential in Brazil and Argentina, sharpen its go-to-market strategy, and refine its messaging for local industrial buyers.
Working with German Accelerator, Gizil made a critical shift in how they talked about their product. Instead of leading with technology, they reframed around what LATAM industrial operators actually care about: faster implementation, lower costs, reliable asset data, and a clear path from one use case to enterprise-wide transformation. That shift in positioning, combined with GA's warm introductions to regional players, is what opened the doors.
A key shift: moving from a purely technical product explanation to a value proposition focused on what large operators actually care about - faster implementation, lower costs, and reliable asset data. German Accelerator also supported Gizil in approaching large corporates in the region and establishing partnerships with local representatives.

Secured a pilot with TGS (Transportadora de Gas del Sur), one of LATAM's largest gas operators, to digitalize an industrial plant in Buenos Aires.
First customer in Argentina within 3 months - compressing a typical 12–18 month B2B sales cycle.
Partnership with SENAI, the largest professional education and training network in Latin America.
Strategic partnership with TECPRON in Argentina, combining Gizil's platform with local laser scanning and P&ID expertise.
