What Happened During the Program

DreamyTales joined the German Accelerator Market Access program to explore expansion into Brazil. The program helped the team validate the market, localize their product, and build the operational and commercial foundation needed to enter a new consumer market.

The Challenge

While DreamyTales had established a growing business in Germany, entering Brazil required a complete rethink of its model. The team needed to localize its product into Portuguese, adapt pricing to a different purchasing power, and navigate a complex tax and import environment. At the same time, they had to design a new supply chain—deciding whether to import or produce locally—and identify reliable partners for production, fulfillment, and delivery. Without an existing network in Brazil, even the first operational steps, from understanding e-commerce dynamics to building local partnerships, posed significant challenges.
